AI in Sport and Exercise Science

The CASES Resource on Artificial Intelligence - January 2026
The Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES) has released a major new resource designed to support Sport and Exercise Scientists in understanding and applying artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly and effectively.
The resource is intended for professionals at all levels—from those new to AI to those already proficient—and provides practical insights alongside links to over 20 AI tools relevant to the sector.
Written on behalf of the Association, eight authors from across the CASES membership, with a wealth of knowledge and wide range of experience worked together to research and review the evolving AI landscape in Sports and Exercise Science.
