About
The sports sciences programmes at the University of Bolton are located in the School of Health and Social Sciences. This diverse School was established in 2007 from the three former Departments of Health and Social Studies, Psychology and Life Sciences, and Sport and Leisure. We pride ourselves on the expertise offered by experienced School staff with practitioner backgrounds in a range of professions. They will work with you to enhance your knowledge, skills and capacity for reflective practice enabling you to achieve your career aspirations. We maintain a strong reputation for high quality and flexible courses, delivered in friendly small class sizes. We have excellent relationships with several organisations in Bolton and its region and through these we are able to offer professional work experience placements to all undergraduate students. We also work closely with a number of organisations by providing consultancy and research services.
