BASES Outreach Projects: Sam Price wins the BASES School Poster Competition

BASES is pleased to announce that Sam Price from the Warwick School has won the BASES School Poster Competition.

Last September, BASES launched the BASES School Poster Competition, to engage students aged between 14 and 19 years, who are studying sport and exercise science related subjects in high school and colleges. Ten institutions around the UK were chosen as outreach hubs (OH). Details about the competition can be found here.

BASES displayed Sam’s winning poster at the 2024 BASES Student Conference on 3 – 4 April 2024 at Manchester Metropolitan University. Sam has also won the opportunity for his school to have a visit from a high-performance athlete or coach.

The new BASES Career Guide will be launched later this summer and will be packed with helpful information about careers in sport and exercise sciences. To view more information on BASES outreach projects, please click here.
