Take Part in the Future Trends in High Performance Sport Research
8th August 2024
BASES has been working with Leaders in Sport Institute over the last 12 months and will be part of their Future Trends in High Performance: Research Project.
Leaders in Sport Institute is working in collaboration with BASES, the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, Central Queensland University, Exercise & Sports Science Australia and Management Futures to create an original piece of research exploring future trends in high performance sport. It is thought that this will be the first of its kind, cross-sport industry survey and report.
Those members who are eligible are invited to complete the survey to help shape this research. As a BASES member, if you complete the survey, you will receive access to the full report and analysis, a report virtual learning series and all report analysis, articles, podcasts and CPD accredited virtual learning series created in partnership with all Research and Accreditation Partners.
Survey members must work for a professional sports team or league, an international sports federation or governing body, or an academic institution offering sports-related subjects, or a member of the US National Collegiate Athletic Association and work in a professionally qualified sports performance focused role.
There is a dedicated page here explaining more about the research, the Institute’s Research and Accreditation Partners and members who will be contributing to the analysis.
This is a fantastic opportunity, as a community, to contribute to a piece of research and in the process, help benchmark and shed a light on what you and BASES will need to consider and action to stay ahead of the performance curve.
Complete the Survey
You can complete the survey here. The survey will remain open until 20 September 2024, and the report will be published in December 2024. Members who take part will receive access to an extension to the research with virtual roundtable sessions, articles and podcasts to follow in 2025 exploring the standout trends.
The Institute would also welcome your support in sharing the survey with relevant colleagues and peers to gain a more representative outlook of the trends across the industry.
