Student Rep appointments to the BASES Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee

Further to the open recruitment towards the end of July 2020 for Student Representative applications for the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Committee, we are pleased to announce the following members have been appointed to the EDI Committee:

Lucinda Abell and Savannah Sturridge.

The standard of applications was high and we thank all those who applied for the roles.

Lucinda and Savannah will join Dr Richard Buscombe, Dr Sharon Dixon, Dr John Fernandes, Dr Kotryna Fraser, Helen Matthews, Dr Izzy Moore, Dr Emma Ross FBASES, Dr Tori Sprung, Shameema Yousuf and the BASES Executive Director, Ian Wilson, on the EDI Committee.

The next meeting will take place 9 September 2020. We will keep members updated on the work and progress of the committee through the communications channels, including the members’ newsletter.
