For an informal chat about the roles and time commitment, please contact one of the Division Chairs (details within the Division Hubs member-only pages), the Chair-Elect (Z.R.Knowles@ljmu.ac.uk) or the Executive Director (iwilson@bases.org.uk).
The appointment of the above roles will be via a formal, open and transparent recruitment process, with the aim of attracting the widest range of the most suitable candidates from the BASES community. We are committed to equity, diversity and inclusion as part of our recruitment policies. We therefore encourage applications from the entire BASES community who meet the required criteria, but we particularly encourage applications from women, individuals from ethnically diverse communities, those who have a disability, or members of LGBTQ+ community. Please notify the Executive Director (iwilson@bases.org.uk) if you require reasonable adjustments during the application process.
To apply, please submit a single page of A4, outlining:
- why you are volunteering for this role
- what skills and experience you would bring to the Committee / Advisory Group
- any ideas you have about moving forward the work of the Committee / Advisory Group.
Please email this to iwilson@bases.org.uk by noon on Monday 11 October 2021. Please mark this email as confidential and within the subject header, please add the name of the Committee / Advisory Group you are expressing an interest in.
Sincere
thanks are extended to those members whose tenures are soon to finish. Thanks
also to our members who continue to serve across the breadth of Standing
Committees, Advisory Groups and Special Interest Groups for their ongoing hard
work and efforts for BASES. We are pleased that so many of our members are
becoming actively involved with key developments for the Association, helping
to progress the 2021-2025 Strategy.
We look forward to welcoming more members into the
respective roles and to advancing the work of the Association.
Thanks, and best wishes.
