Office for Students consultations

Members within Further and Higher Education might find it helpful to know that the Office for Students has three consultations open at the moment: 

Consultation on a new approach to regulating student outcomes: The Office for Students is proposing a new approach to its regulation of student outcomes in English higher education providers. This consultation sets out the background to their proposals, the reasons we they proposing to make changes and what they expect those changes to achieve. Closing date: 17 March 2022. 

Consultation on the Teaching Excellence Framework: This consultation sets out proposals for the future Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). This is a national scheme which assesses universities and colleges for excellence in teaching, learning and the outcomes they provide for their students. Closing date: 17 March 2022.

Consultation on constructing student outcome and experience indicators for use in OfS regulation: This consultation sets out proposals for the construction, presentation and interpretation of the data which would form the evidence base for regulating student outcomes and would inform Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) assessments. Closing date:17 March 2022.
