New Workshop Tutoring Opportunities

5th April 2023

Over the last ten years, Sport Education Solutions Ltd (SES Ltd) has worked with BASES to develop and successfully deliver its core workshops to over 200 trainee sport and exercise scientists on the BASES Supervised Experience route and the specialist Sport and Exercise Psychology Accreditation Route (SEPAR). The workshops - Safeguarding in the Sport and Exercise Sciences; Professional Ethics for Sport and Exercise Scientists; Reflective Practice for Sport and Exercise Scientists. are currently delivered using a pool of expert staff with a wealth of experience in professional development in sport and exercise science and in the subject matter. A number of opportunities for the development and extension of the Workshop programme have recently arisen and as such, SES Ltd now needs to widen the pool of approved tutors to deliver the workshops.

SES Ltd is now in a position to offer individuals the opportunity to train to deliver the workshops in a range of different settings and to be part of the SES Ltd workshop delivery workforce. If you have expertise in the subject matter (Safeguarding, Ethics or Reflective Practice), are an enthusiastic and engaging presenter and are keen to support the development of sport and exercise science practitioners then contact admin@sporteds.net for an Application Pack which outlines the Workshop outcomes, the tutor criteria and the remuneration package.

At BASES, we are committed to Fairness, Professionalism, Honesty, Responsibility and Excellence. We strive to improve our ways of working to be more inclusive and diverse, to accelerate our impact on society and live up to our Values. We acknowledge that we lack representation from various underrepresented groups and therefore strongly encourage applications that will amplify the voices of people with a disability, those from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds, women or gender diverse people in STEMM and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Please notify Dr Andy Miles FBASES (admin@sporteds.net) if you require reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process.
