Call out to members to review online Human Kinetics Courses

19th February 2019

BASES offers a number of online CPD courses through our partners Human Kinetics (HK). Members receive generous discounts on these courses and can obtain CPD credits by completing them.

BASES is keen to offer more courses, but we require volunteers with knowledge of the subject area to undertake and review them to determine their suitability for BASES members before we include them in our CPD portfolio. Reviewers complete the online course free of charge and will be awarded 5 BASES CPD credits for each review conducted.

The HK online courses are most suited to students, recent graduates and early career professionals; or those wanting to gain knowledge within a specific area outside of their own expertise.

The new courses, available as online or print versions, are:

Sport & Performance
Science and Application of High-Intensity Interval Training - approx.16 hours

Biomechanics
Running Mechanics and Gait Analysis – approx.4 hours

Physiology
Low Back Disorders – approx. 20 hours
Practical Guide to Exercise Physiology – approx. 6 hours

If you are interested and can commit to completing one of the courses on behalf of BASES, please complete and submit this online application form by 1.00pm on Wednesday 27 February.
Reviewers for each course will be selected at random from all entries that meet the basic criteria.
