Appointments to the BASES Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee

Further to the open recruitment at the end of May for applications for the new Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Committee, we are pleased to announce the following members have been appointed by the Appointments and Remuneration Committee to the new EDI Committee:

Dr Richard Buscombe, Dr Sharon Dixon, Dr John Fernandes, Dr Kotryna Fraser, Helen Matthews, Dr Izzy Moore, Dr Emma Ross FBASES, Dr Tori Sprung, Shameema Yousuf. BASES Executive Director, Ian Wilson, will be an ex-officio member of the committee.

We thank the members for volunteering their time to serve on this new committee.

The first meeting will take place in July. We will keep members updated on the work and progress of the committee through the communications channels, including the members’ newsletter.
